Changing Nursing or Midwifery programs

Important Information for Students wishing to change programs

Domestic students who wish to change from a current UQ program to a program located in the School of Nursing and Midwifery will need to reapply through QTAC.
 
International students who wish to change their current UQ program should access and complete the program request  form and then submit the form at any UQ Student Centre. 
 
First year students entering their first semester, who have accepted a place but are unable to commence studies in a School of Nursing and Midwifery program are advised to defer through their QTAC log-in and follow the prompts. Should the QTAC deadline for deferring have passed, then students will be required to re-apply through QTAC. It is very important to drop courses previously added thru mySI-net to avoid Academic and/or Financial penalties.
 
Students returning from an interruption to studies are required to complete a Hospital Preference Form (available from the School office or from the School’s webpage under Welcome Pack).
