The School of Nursing and Midwifery merged with the School of Social Work & Human Services on January 1, 2015.

We’re working on a new school website, and after the transition, some of the information here may not be current. When the new website is ready it will offer updated information and this site will be retained for archival and staff purposes.

Greg Perry
Greg Perry

Greg Perry is the Clinical Placement Coordinator at the School and previously worked in Student Administration as a coordinator for the School of Medicine, Discipline of Surgery.

Prior to joining UQ as a member of staff, Greg completed an undergraduate degree in Political Science at UQ and is currently mid-way through a Masters in Environmental Management.

Professionally, Greg has worked as a Trade Union Official and as a salesman, culminating in a position as Australasian Sales manager in Auckland New Zealand. He claims the odd mix is very useful when handling the careful diplomacy and horse-trading that is the competitive world of clinical placements.

Greg now spends his spare time on a small property outside Fernvale in Country Queensland, with his best mate “Chocolate.”

He can usually be found fishing in the Brisbane River, cooking, fanatically supporting Liverpool Football club and collecting jazz records.
