School Executive Officer

Leanne has worked extensively within a University environment for the past 22 years at various levels specialising in senior Faculty administration and management, and has worked as Executive Officer for two Faculties, spending the majority of her career in health education. 

As Faculty Executive Officer at Charles Sturt University, Leanne managed key portfolios including Finance and Resources, Strategic Planning, External Relations and Marketing, Student Recruitment, Course Administration and Special Projects. 
 
Leanne joined The University of Queensland in July 2008 as Acting School Manager for the School of Pharmacy, and began working as Acting School Executuve Officer with the School of Nursing and Midwifery in January 2009, securing the substantive continuing appointment in March of the same year.
 
Leanne manages a wide range of administrative operations and Clinical School sites within the School including, student/academic administration, financial and human resource policy and administration, IT, on campus and clinical facilities in partner hospitals and the implementation and management of office information management systems; as well as providing high-level support to the Head of School in proactive planning and operational management to achieve the School’s operational objectives. 

Leanne is based at the UQ Ipswich campus and works at UQ Herston every Tuesday.
