The international student exchange program offered by the School of Nursing and Midwifery to undergraduate students provides a wonderful opportunity for you to enhance and diversify your learning experience.  

Developed in conjunction with internationally renowned universities, the program is designed to help you develop a global perspective by gaining an appreciation of cultural diversity through immersion in academic and clinical experiences. Currently the student exchange program is offered through the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, and the University of Auckland School of Nursing. Other partnerships are planned.
 
The minimum GPA requirement for students to be accepted into the UQ Abroad programme (outgoing exchange) is 4.5. This is a cumulative GPA. Full details of the eligibility requirements for undergrads can be found at http://www.uq.edu.au/uqabroad/undergraduate-students.

Applications for the international student exchange program are open to School of Nursing and Midwifery second year undergraduate students for an exchange in their final year.
